Science Olympiad: NEBRASKA SCIENCE OLYMPIAD STATE TOURNAMENT 2026 when: saturday, april 18, 2026 Your hosts Administrative Home: STEM TRAIL Center, University of Nebraska at Omaha HOST SItE: University of Nebraska–Lincoln, East Campus Schedule of Events Registration: 7:15 – 8:15 a.m. Impound: 8:15 – 8:35 a.m. Coaches Meeting: 8:20 – 8:35 a.m. Competition: 8:40 a.m. – 3:05 p.m. Awards Ceremony: 5:10 p.m. (tentative) Checking Into the Tournament (Registration) NEW: All coaches will check in on the 2nd floor of the Student Union, Great Plains Room. Coaches Meeting (Optional) Location: 2nd floor of the Student Union, Great Plains Room (FRONT) Note: There will not be an opening ceremony this year. Middle School teams will have a Parade of Flags during the Closing Ceremony. Awards Ceremony Locations Middle Schools: Great Plains Room, Student Union High Schools: Hardin Auditorium, Hardin Hall Parade of flags Middle School Teams: Please have two students prepared to participate in the Parade of Teams and bring a school banner or sign. Science Olympiad: TRIAL EVENTS at Nebraska Science Olympiad State Tournament 2026 Welcome to the 2026 Nebraska Science Olympiad Tournament! Saturday April 18, 2026 TRIAL EVENTS The state tournament will feature 6 Trial Events. While these events are primarily for students who are not on their school's main competition team, but all students are welcome to participate. These events are for both the middle school (Division B) and the high school (Division C). The same rules will be used for both divisions, but awards are earned separately for each division.
